Hello!

My name is Nicole, welcome to Parcel 23.

I received my BFA in Communication Design from the University of Connecticut in 2010 and began working as a graphic designer shortly after. Eventually I moved to the Boston area for a full-time in-house design gig. After seven years I left my desk job where I learned more than I can tell you about design, collaboration, and customer service and I moved across the country in order to spend more time with family.

I welcomed the unique opportunity that was in front of me in the middle of the land of enchantment and began to learn how to use the tools in my dad’s workshop, and from that a desire to create physical art took shape. I used free time to take jewelry and lapidary classes and hone the new skills that I learned.

Parcel 23 was created as an homage to the place that inspired me to face my fears, take a chance, and try something new. I hope you enjoy my simple, bold, one-of-a-kind pieces of art created here as much as I enjoy making them by hand!
