Hello!

My name is Nicole, and welcome to Parcel 23.

I received my BFA in Communication Design from the University of Connecticut in 2010 and began working as a graphic designer shortly after. Eventually I moved to the Boston area for a full-time in-house design gig.

After seven years I left my desk job where I learned more than I can tell you about design, collaboration, and customer service and I moved across the country to New Mexico in order to help my family. I welcomed the unique opportunity that was in front of me and began to learn how to use the tools in my dad’s workshop, and from that a desire to create physical art took shape. I used free time to take jewelry and lapidary classes and hone the new skills that I learned.

Parcel 23 was created as an homage to my new home—the place that inspired me to face my fears, take a chance, and try something new. I hope you enjoy my simple, bold, one-of-a-kind pieces of art created here as much as I enjoy making them by hand!
